Introducing the Bornemann SLH-5G Twin Screw Pump

Lighthouse Process is excited to introduce the Bornemann SLH-5G, a hygienic twin screw pump designed to simplify product transfer and cleaning in food, pharmaceutical, and chemical processes.

The SLH-5G handles products across a range of viscosities with gentle axial movement that helps protect product quality. It also has the ability to circulate cleaning solutions during clean-in-place (CIP), potentially eliminating the need for a separate cleaning pump and additional piping.

Reverse operation can help clear product from the suction line before cleaning, while its maintenance design allows service without disassembling the bearing unit. For facilities using an earlier Bornemann SLH pump, the SLH-5G may also fit existing piping dimensions, subject to confirming the installation.
